The model
A small agent on your Windows box.
A browser for everything else.
Sitrep works by installing a small background service (called Sentinel) on the Windows PC that runs your game server. That service connects out to the Sitrep web panel. You then control the server from any browser — the PC doesn't need to be accessible from the internet directly.
The setup, step by step.
Navigate to the panel URL and sign in with Google. Cloudflare Access handles the authentication — no separate account needed.
If your account is the first on the tenant, you're auto-provisioned as owner and the onboarding wizard opens.
Install the agent.
The wizard gives you a one-time agent token and a download link for the Sentinel installer. Run the installer on your Windows machine — it walks you through panel URL, agent token, agent secret, server root, and RCON settings.
It can download the Arma Reforger dedicated server via SteamCMD during the install, or skip if you have it already. Setup takes 15–30 minutes.
Manage from anywhere.
Once Sentinel is running, it sends a heartbeat to the panel. The wizard flips to 'Sentinel’s online' and you're done.
From that point the dashboard shows your server status in real time. Start, stop, switch scenarios, manage mods, run RCON — all from the browser.
What you'll need.
No prior server experience required.
Connectivity — the honest version.
Sentinel makes outbound connections to the panel. Your gaming PC does not need an open inbound port or port-forwarding on your router — the agent reaches out, not the other way around.
The installer adds a local Windows Firewall rule for the agent service. If you have third-party firewall software, make sure outbound HTTPS is allowed for the Sentinel process.
Security model.
Edge auth
Cloudflare Access gates the panel with Google SSO. Unauthenticated requests never reach the application.
Signed channel
Every request from the panel to your Sentinel agent is HMAC-signed with a per-tenant secret. Replays and forgeries are rejected.
Your tokens, your hardware
Agent credentials are generated by you and stored only in your panel instance. Nothing about your server leaves your infrastructure.
